Privacy Policy

SmartTech VPN collects only the data needed to provide, secure and operate the VPN service.

Data we collect

• Account information: name and email address used to create and manage your SmartTech account.
• Authentication information: service credentials and one-time activation tokens required to authenticate the Chrome extension and VPN/proxy connection. We do not collect your Google password.
• Connection information: source IP address, device/platform, connection timestamps, VPN/proxy status and assigned VPN IP.
• Operational usage: bandwidth totals, connection activity and speed-test results used for service health, troubleshooting and capacity monitoring.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect or sell browsing history, the content of websites you visit, page text, images, videos, personal communications, health information, financial information or payment card details through the Chrome extension.

How data is used

Data is used only to provide the SmartTech VPN connection, authenticate users, prevent abuse, troubleshoot service issues, measure operational usage and maintain service security and reliability.

Sharing and sale

We do not sell user data. We do not use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to SmartTech VPN's single purpose, and we do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending.

Data deletion

Users may request deletion of their SmartTech VPN account and associated device records through the Data Deletion page.
